General
Brummel Horse Farm, previously Thoroughbred Prospects, is an equine sales
facility located in Westminster, Maryland. We are a family owned and
operated business with a high standard of quality for our horses. |
 |
|
Why the Change?
We decided to change our farm name from Thoroughbred
Prospects to Brummel Horse Farm for many reasons. In the
recent past we have shifted our focus from green off-the-track
Thoroughbreds to offering both English and Western family horses.
We felt that our business name was misleading and may confuse
potential buyers, so Brummel Horse Farm was born!
We
chose "Brummel" because years ago it was the name of the part of
town in which we are located.

The Farm
Our farm was built in the 1800s and still has many
of it's original parts in use. Since our moving here in 2007, we
have renovated the lower barn, added three additional
barns as well as a 120x240 outdoor riding arena. |
Permanent Equine Residents

|
Tuesday holds the position as the farm's oldest resident. We
have had her for a little over ten years now. She was Ashlen's first horse and taught all of the kids to
ride. She now happily resides in the "personal horse" barn
as a BHF antique. |
