Success Stories

We love to keep up with the horses we have previously sold. Here are just a few of the photos/quotes we have received from past clients.

If you have any photos of a horse you bought from us previously, we would be delighted to put them on the website with a short quote! Our email is thefolks@brummelhorsefarm.com.

Wendi and Cheerio

How are you? How's Ashlen? Last I heard from you she was sick....apparently she's better because I just read an article about you in the Carroll County Times! I wish I'd known they were writing it, because I could have given my part on the Mustang. Cheerio is doing wonderfully in his new home. He's been there 2 months now. We've even been out to Hashawa on a trail ride on which he showed the older more experienced horses how you really go on a trail ride. One of the girls I was riding with said afterwards that he'd really impressed her with his heart and stamina.

He's been very impressive all around. I like to tell people I think of him of our little circus attraction; people are so interested in him because he's a Mustang. After they've met him they all compliment us on him. He's a surprise to them, I guess, they must be expecting some little wild man, but there he lays in his stall, with his lip and ears hangin' loose, looking at us like "'sup?". He's too funny!

Thank you for helping us with our journey into horseland! Pretzel is just plain naughty and Hope is very special. They will be endlessly loves upon, spoiled, ridden, groomed, braided and combed! We will send picture and keep in touch.

Gail on the consignment of Boston

Amanda first of all I want to sincerely thank you for doing such an amazing job selling Boston for us.  You literally took all the work and worry away from us during our stressful time dealing with Bob’s cancer.  If there is anything we can ever do to repay you for all your hard work you just say the word. You have put in a lot of time and hard work, and it looks like you are  being recognized and have a true following of people who know you and trust you. You have our vote and respect.  Always.

- Gail, previous owner of Boston

I wanted to let you know Boston's trip to his new home was very uneventful, he met my horse and pony over the fence, they seem to be off to a good start.  He was greeted by 3 kids that are very excited-and Andie isn't even home yet!

Ryan and Starfish

Ryan and Starfish just got back from their first show together and they did great!

They came home with a first in conformation, first in leadline, second in unattached leadline walk, and fourth in unattached leadline trail!  The unattached leadline classes had 17 kids in them!

He is doing great being hauled to weekly lessons and getting ridden everyday by a very happy 5 year old!

Thank you very much for being a very honest salesperson when it came to your horse. There were no real surprises with him when I got him home and he is now the farm favorite.

I will gladly recommend you and your farm when friends are looking for new horses and I will most definitely be back when Starfish is outgrown!

Lindsey and Blue

Just wanted to update you on Blue! I've gotten a job as a barn manager at an eventing/foxhunting barn in Huntsville, AL (I start in March) and Blue will be accompanying me. He and I will be competing in both eventing and dressage as well as going foxhunting with the local hunt club. He's absolutely stunning and one of the calmest horses we have in the barn. We have adopting the phrase  "Blueisms" as he's always pulling stunts (like throwing rocks at us when we're taking too long fixing his dinner) which makes for a very entertaining barn. I can't thank you enough for finding him for me. He is truly a once in a lifetime horse!

Kate and Inky

Brummel Horse Farm adopted Inky, a Mustang, from the BLM. After breaking and training him, he now is owned by the Williams family and is serving his purpose as a productive equine citizen. We are so proud of you Inky!

" Hello! I just wanted to drop you an email...Inky has settled in very nicely.  He and Zana are two peas in a pod. I rode him in a bitless bridle the other day and he did great with it!We ordered him his own bitless bridle, and that's what he'll be ridden in. When I do get him out on trail, I'll send you some pix! "

Beth and Carson

" Just thought that I would send you an e-mail with how Carson is doing and a few pictures. Carson is doing great, he has gained a ton of weight (looks like a different horse), he even grew an inch, and is going really well. Just started to take lessons a few weeks ago and jump him. He does pretty much everything, now even lead changes. Just jumping little cross rails so far. I took him to a little show this past Saturday and just did a few flat classes and he won both. "

Destinee and Echo

"How are you guys doing? Your farm looks great. Echo is doing great (: She looks really good, I'll have to take some pictures and send them to you guys. Well, just stopping by to say hey and good work on the farm, it looks great. "

Rita and Amiano

"Amiano is wonderful with my babies...he likes to say hello when they are in their stroller, and they pet him, while he sniffs them.  I love having such a gentle, mellow boy (well, mellow all the time except when its time for food!). When the cows spook at him and run around in the dark when I am leading him back after riding, he is totally chill. I really like that. Everyone thinks he is really pretty too. "

Julianna and Romeo

"For some time I’ve been meaning to give you an update on Romeo & Julianna.  But, she’s been so busy riding him, I’ve barely had the time! He has been wonderful!  He has been everything she wanted in a pony and more.  Thank you so much.

He has done so many different things, in so many different places in the last 3 months and never wavered in his perfectly even temperament. He has done EVERYTHING she’s asked of him; no hesitations.  Cross-country jumps, cold water baths, 3 straight days of trailering to three different lessons; we even had to finish shoeing him inside my husband’s garage/workshop because it poured rain.  He has handled it all perfectly.

She has shown him at several Jumper Shows at 2’3”  and gone clean in all classes.  They were her first shows at that height and Romeo made her look like a pro. He is a keeper, no doubt!  I’ve included a few photos of the happy pair.  Thank you again."

Rachael and Cherokee

"Cherokee is doing so well! I've done jumpers, hunters, equitation, dressage, and I really want to event. I love doing everything with him!"

Cherokee and Rachael are jumping 2'6 to 3' currently and have shown at Country Hill, Pickwick, Swan Lake, and Talbot Run.

Bri and Sundance

Dill and Stacey

(C) Thoroughbred Prospects

"Everybody just loves Dilly at his new barn! One trainer friend of mine keeps asking if I will sell him to one of her kids, but I've decided to keep him as my forever horse because he's just so sweet.

We have only been able to compete in one show so far, but Dilly was a super star! He won the warm-up class over fences with 35+ horses in it; got two second place ribbons over fences in the baby green division, and won the baby green hack."

Logan and Kenzie

"Logan is such a great horse and my best friend. He is a smooth ride, a quick learner, and very willing under saddle. I love all his little quirks such as playing with my hair and cheesing it up for the camera."

He is currently in work four or five days a week and we are hoping to go to some shows this summer. Everyone at my barn agrees: Logan is a super horse!"

Simon and Deb

"I am totally in love with Simon.  We have been on several trail rides and nothing phases him.  He is great. Hope all is well with you and your family.  Tell everyone I said hi and once we thaw from the deep freeze you guys will have to come and ride."

―   Simon's New Family

Bentley and Chelsey

"Bentley is really starting to show his true colors.

He is amazing! I love him to death and he is the best little hunter horse ever!"

"He is schooling 2'9", and we jumped 3' in our last lesson."
